Renaud Hinse

Director

Mr. Hinse has worked extensively within the mining industry in Quebec for more than 50 years. He received his degree as a mining engineer at Laval University in Quebec City and a certificate in metallurgical sciences at the Royal Technical College in Glasgow, Scotland. He has a lot of experience and knowledge of the north-west of the Province of Quebec, this historic, world-renowned mining camp that continues to excite prospectors, mining companies and investors. Over the years, Mr. Hinse has raised more than $50 M for mining projects and with Abcourt, participated in the start up of two mines. Mr. Hinse is a Board member of Abcourt since 1979.

Loïc Bureau

Director

With a bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering and more than 20 years of experience in mining exploration, project management and teaching, I am recognized as an adaptive, resourceful and goal-oriented manager.

René Branchaud

Director

Lawyer since 1983. Partner of the law firm Lavery, de Billy L.L.P. Director and Secretary of Midland Exploration Inc., a Canadian mining exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Director and Secretary of Genius Metals Inc., a Canadian mining exploration company listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange.

Daniel Adam

Director

Mr. Adam holds a master in geology and a PhD in geology from the University of Lorraine, France, and is a member of the Ordre des géologues du Québec and the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. M. Adam held the positions of Director of Exploration and then Vice-president, Exploration for Richmont Mines Inc. until its acquisition by Alamos Gold Inc. in 2017. Before that, he worked for BHP Billiton, Selbaie Mines project, for about 20 years, including as Project Geologist, Production Geologist, Superintendent of Operations and Environment Coordinator. Mr. Adam has been a director of Abcourt since Decembre 2018.

Nicole Veilleux

Director and President Audit Committee

Ms. Veilleux is a professional chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience in financing, including her experience as auditor with KPMG S.E.N.C.R.L. and as financial analyst for Industries Norbord inc. and Fonds regional de solidarité de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue. She has served as Vice-President of Finance at Richmont Mines Inc. until the acquisition by Alamos Gold Inc. in 2017; Prior positions held during her 20-year career at Richmont Mines include Controller, Financial Director and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Veilleux has been a director of Abcourt since December 2018.

Julie Godard

Corporate Secretary

Ms. Godard was a member of the Barreau du Québec from 1986 to 2023. She has several years of corporate secretariat experience with Canadian mining companies.

Charles H. Bélanger, P. Eng., M.B.A.,

Chief Mine Engineer

Mr. Bélanger has 30 years of mining experience, mostly in north-western Québec.

Guillaume Leblanc

Mine Manager

Mining operator with over 20 years experience in mining and supervision. Experience in all aspects of conventional mining methods. 10 years with Abcourt Mines

Christine Lefebvre, CPA, CA

Chief Financial Officer

Mrs. Lefebvre is member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association of Canada. She accumulates five years of experience in the practice of law and has worked ten years for the accounting firm Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, of Rouyn-Noranda and of Val d’Or, Province of Quebec. From 2009 to 2016, she has been acting as external auditor for this firm and has been in charge of audit mandates for junior mining companies and for mining companies in development. Mrs. Lefebvre is with Abcourt since July 2016.

Pascal Hamelin, ing

President and CEO

Mr. Hamelin, holder of a Mining Engineering Degree decreed by the Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, is member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (since September 2009) and of the Professional Engineer of Ontario (since July 1993). Mr. Pascal Hamelin cumulates over 30 years of progressive and relevant experience in mining project management. This experience was acquired in the Sudbury and Abitibi mining camp.

François Mestrallet

Chairman of the Board of Directors

Mr. Mestrallet is a veterinairian, member of the “École nationale vétérinaire” of Lyon, France, since 1980. Since 1983, he is president of Demavic, a private company located in France and manufacturing materials for animals. Mr. Mestrallet is a Board member Abcourt since 2013.

Mr. Hamelin holds a mining engineering degree from École Polytechnique de Montréal. He has over 30 years of experience in mining, project management, and exploration. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Eng.) and the Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng). He gained his experience mainly in the mining camps of Sudbury and Abitibi.
Mr. Hamelin has been employed at various functions and at various mining sites for Inco, from 1991 to 2007. Thereafter, he has occupied managing functions with Century Mining, Alexis Minerals between 2007 and 2010. Over the years, Mr. Hamelin has successively held the positions of General Manager, VP Operations, and President of Metanor Resources and has been President and CEO of Bonterra from 2020 to January 2022.
